2nd Amendment
U.S. Congressman Ted Lieu (D–CA) claims that he supports the 2nd Amendment because “I am absolutely against infringing on the rights of a well regulated militia.”
IN FACT, the 2nd Amendment is a “right of the people”—not government. Constitution-era books state that “well regulated” means “orderly” and that “militia” includes citizens “who arm themselves, upon a short warning, for their own defense.”
