Linking to a commentary in Time magazine, U.S. Senate candidate Gloria Johnson (D–TN) claims “the research clearly shows vouchers don’t work.”
IN FACT, the studies cited in Time are outdated or subpar. Credible research shows that school choice saves money, helps children who move to private schools, and creates competition that causes public schools to improve. The only people who lose are teachers unions and the Democrats they fund.
