U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D–IL) claims immigration is “our future” and that “we need an orderly, humane, and legal pathway to citizenship.”

IN FACT, U.S. law already provides 40 pathways for immigrants to become legal permanent residents, as long as they don’t pose crime, health, or welfare risks. Durbin’s call for a “legal pathway to citizenship” means amnesty, which was tried in 1986 as a “one-time” solution and has led to even more illegal immigration.
